MODESTO, CA – Motorists faced traffic delays Thursday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash temporarily shut down a section of roadway near Modesto.

According to the California Highway Patrol, State Route 132 east of Dakota Avenue was closed on August 6 following the collision, as announced in a social media post.

The crash resulted in minor injuries.

Officials urged drivers to plan for delays while crews worked to clear the scene. By 4:05 p.m., all lanes had reopened and traffic was able to resume through the area.
