Vacaville Two-Vehicle Crash Reported on Orange Drive

A Vacaville two-vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital after a collision between a city utility truck and a passenger vehicle at a busy east city intersection. The crash occurred at approximately 9:27 a.m. on March 18 at the intersection of Orange Drive and Leisure Town Road. According to the Vacaville Police Department, the crash involved a 2018 Ford F-150 truck operated by Vacaville Public Works and a silver 2025 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles on impact, and one person was treated at the scene for chest pain before being transported for further medical evaluation. Police and emergency crews responded promptly, blocking off portions of the intersection as they investigated and worked to clear the wreckage.
