Vacaville Community Events for October 2019
As the hot weather begins to cool off and the days get shorter, Vacaville is saying goodbye to the summer months. However, just because the summer is over doesn’t mean that there aren’t plenty of great Vacaville community events happening around town. The following blog contains information about just a few of the many exciting events taking place in Vacaville in the near future, and residents looking for something to do may want to take a look.

Downtown Halloween Stroll

When: Thursday, October 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Families looking for a fun, safe way to enjoy the holiday are invited to bring their kids and costumes downtown for an evening of Halloween spirit. Over 30 downtown businesses will be continuing the city’s 20-year-old tradition by decorating, wearing costumes, and handing out candy to young trick-or-treaters. The first 1,000 families to arrive at Town Square will be given a free, reusable bag for holding treats. The stroll will also feature live music and a performance from the Young Artists Conservatory of Music. The event is sponsored by the City of Vacaville, the Vacaville Police Department, and Downtown Vacaville BID. For more details, visit this page.
