PHEF’s 8th Annual BBQ and Brew

The Placer Hills Education Foundation (PHEF) is hosting a barbecue and brew event. You can eat, drink and dance the night away at the 8th Annual BBQ & Brew. Enjoy an early fall evening of dinner, adult beverages, and dancing under the stars while fundraising for the Placer Hills Unified School District.

You will enjoy a delicious BBQ’d chicken and tri-tip dinner prepared by the Meadow Vista Lion’s Club. Afterward, head out to the dance floor and shake off the dinner. Jimmy Overdrive band will be playing all your favorite tunes.

If you get thirsty from dancing, quench your thirst with craft brews, wine, and margaritas. Be sure to bring all your friends or come meet new ones. This is an adult-only event so get your babysitters lined up. You won’t want to miss this eventful night.

Tickets are on sale now. Presale tickets are $30. Tickets will be $35 at the door. There is only a limited number of tickets being sold at the door so get your tickets now!

Tea and Tunes

Peacock Park is hosting its Tea and Tunes event. There will be live entertainment by Bernie Rivera and Friends. If you like smooth jazz and easy listening on the saxophone and flute, this event is your cup of tea. Small bites, tea, and coffee will be provided. There is limited parking and seating, so get your tickets ahead of time. Tickets are $9.

Winchester Walk 2021

The Assistance League of Greater Placer is hosting a fundraising walking event at the beautiful Winchester golf course. The Winchester Walk will feature 1-mile, 3-mile, and 6-mile loops. This golf course is one of the most amazing and private golf clubs in Northern California.

Other activities include an opportunity to buy raffle tickets to ride in the Batmobile, check out the Assistance League of Greater Placer’s sportswear store and enjoy a free drink in the Winchester Golf Clubhouse.

This fundraising event is a win-win for all. Not only will you get to enjoy the changing fall colors, but you will also walk for your health while helping others.

The first 100 participants can take advantage of the $5 parking passes. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. The overflow parking site is at the park & ride at the Placer Hills Road exit and I-80.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for children ages 5 to 16. Tickets can also be purchased at the Assistance League of Greater Placer’s Thrift Shop in Fiddler Green Plaza.

The Assistance League of Greater Placer is a nonprofit organization consisting of all volunteers who put commitment and caring into action through many philanthropic events. All proceeds will benefit the philanthropic programs for residents of Placer County.
