Hosted by Creative Pittsburg in Old Town Pittsburg, the monthly Art Trax event – falling on the third Saturday of every month – is your chance to support your local artists. All locals and non-locals alike are encouraged to come by and stroll the busy streets of charming, historic, Old Town Pittsburg and admire the work of diverse artists in the sponsored pop-up galleries at multiple local business locations.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Take a strange journey with the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Barely Legal to start off Halloween weekend. Stop by the California Theatre to witness for yourself the live version of this classic cult film, in a theater with a cast, friends, and live audience participation! The venue and bar will open to the public at 10:00 p.m., while the show itself will start at 11:00 p.m. Every RHPS fan is invited to come down and dance the Time Warp while enjoying the show that’s been driving the Bay Area wild for 22 years!

Halloween Fun Run and 5K!

  • Location: Railroad Ave between 5th & 6th Streets, Pittsburg, California, 94565
  • Date: Saturday, October 28th, 2017
  • Time: Kids Walk/Run – 8:00 a.m. The 5K – 8:30 a.m.
  • Admission: $35

By promoting family fun and physical health, this kid-friendly event is the best of both worlds. This event is hosted by the Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation (PACF) and by the City of Pittsburg. Just to have as much fun as possible, there will also be a costume contest – so you are free to walk or run in your unique costume (must be family-friendly). There will be a complimentary race bib and t-shirt for everyone in attendance, but the t-shirt may not be available for those that sign up on the day of the event. Don’t wait until the last minute to come and celebrate health and Halloween!
