Trucking Accident Kills Elk Grove Man

December 10, 2015

Another deadly trucking accident kills Elk Grove man. This crash happened on the morning of December 10, 2015. It was a tragically sad scene during the commute hour. The top of a pick-up truck was completely sheered off and sitting near the Seamus Avenue exit along Interstate 5 in Sacramento, California. Nearby was an 18-wheel Federal Express truck that had lost control on the interstate. It had been raining and traffic was backed up for miles.

Federal Express Truck Crashes into Pick-Up Truck

A Federal Express truck was travelling southbound on Interstate 5 in heavy rain at about 6:15 am. The 18-wheeler, somehow lost control, smashing into the center concrete divider. Unfortunately, the big rig careened through the divider and entered the northbound lane of Interstate 5 colliding with a pick up truck. Sadly, the driver of the pick up truck was killed. He was a 45-year old man from Elk Grove, California. He was the only occupant in the pick-up truck.

This will cause the trucking company that hired the driver to submit their records. Some of the records a trucking accident lawyer will look at is the personnel record of the involved trucker.
