Tracy July 2018 Event Calendar

I’m Ed Smith, a Tracy personal injury lawyer. Summer can be the perfect time to kick back and relax, but sitting at home is only fun for so long. Some of you may not be aware of all the community activities taking place in Tracy during July 2018. Look no further, below I have created a short compilation of various events open to the general public. Find an event that sounds fun to you and bring a family member, a lover, or indulge in some much-needed alone time.

4th of July Celebration

Date: Wednesday, July 4, 2018

Time: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Location: Lincoln Park and Tracy High School

Admission: $2 – $5 tickets

An all-day celebration for those that love celebrating America. This event is split between two locations for different times of the day. From 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the public is invited to Lincoln Park for a wide variety of fun activities. The morning will start with a hot air balloon lift off and a complimentary pancake breakfast. There will also be a 4th of July parade, an opening ceremony, and community stage performances. From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the celebration moves to Tracy High School. There will be a kid-friendly magic show following the firework show that begins at 9:30 p.m.

Late Night Thursdays

Date: Thursday, July 12, 2018

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Location: Participating businesses in Downtown Tracy

Admission: Free

Select businesses in Downtown Tracy have agreed to extend their business hours on this one day of the week. Businesses such as Mia Bella’s Boutique, The Owl Box, Sandwich Cousins, Delta Brews Tracy, My Best Friend’s Closet, and more have all committed to staying open until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. For anyone who normally can’t visit during regular hours due to conflicting schedules, come by and support your local businesses while having a fun night out.

Downtown Block Party

Date: Friday, July 20, 2018

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Location:  50 East 6th Street, Tracy, CA 95376

Admission: Free

This will be the 2nd-to-last block party in a series thrown in Tracy. The block parties bring together all ages in enjoying great music with old friends. The band, Rock Monsterz, will be performing your favorite rock songs while keeping the energy high at the event. There will be BBQ and pizza available to purchase, and alcoholic beverages will be also be served to guests who are 21 and over.
