Three Hospitalized After Fairfield Sideshow Crash

On Saturday, March 6, 2021, three people were injured during a Fairfield sideshow. The crash was reported by the Fairfield Police Department (FPD), who indicated that it took place at night on the northeastern edge of the city. According to reports, all three injured parties were hospitalized, one with severe trauma. Updates on their conditions have not been provided, and this accident is under investigation by FPD.

Incident Details

According to FPD, sideshow activities began in Fairfield, where police removed participants from a parking lot. After the removal, the group relocated to Vacaville and eventually returned to Fairfield using Vanden Road. While traveling on Vanden, a 23-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles involved in the activities attempted to pass another vehicle. As she was navigating the pass, her vehicle crashed into another car. The collision reportedly happened at about 10:30 p.m., close to the intersection of One Lake Road.

Emergency Response

When emergency officials arrived at the crash scene, the sideshow group had already relocated to Suisun. At the scene, responders found that the driver and passenger had both suffered injuries. The driver was able to remove herself from the vehicle, but the passenger had to be extricated by first responders. Both were hospitalized and reports indicate that the passenger was severely hurt. The driver of the other vehicle was also hospitalized but reportedly did not suffer critical injuries.

Recovering from Accident Injuries

Car accidents involve a lot of force and frequently cause injuries that require a difficult, long recovery process. For many, recovering from a car accident means undergoing multiple surgeries, spending extensive time in the hospital, completing long-term physical therapy, and more. All of these things can be expensive and may leave survivors with worries about how they will be able to afford the treatments they need.

Furthermore, being injured in a crash can affect your ability to work. Many collision survivors have to take time away from their job or may no longer be able to work at all, resulting in a major income loss.

Getting Help

Thankfully, it’s possible for car accident survivors to reach out for assistance from an attorney. A Fairfield car accident lawyer can explain to you what compensation you can claim from at-fault parties by filing a personal injury claim. Often, these claims provide injured parties with full payment for both medical bills and lost income as well as for a variety of other economic and personal losses.

To learn more about personal injury claims and what you can do to claim fair compensation for your collision damages, the best thing to do is to speak directly with a Fairfield car accident lawyer.
