Sunrise Boulevard Pedestrian Accident
I’m Ed Smith, a Citrus Heights pedestrian accident lawyer. Two pedestrians were walking along a Citrus Heights roadway when an oncoming vehicle crashed into them. Unfortunately, both of the pedestrians suffered traumatic injuries as a result of this incident.
What Happened?
Two pedestrians were walking along Sunrise Boulevard at approximately 6:00 pm. The two pedestrians, a woman in her 50’s and a man in his 60’s, were walking outside of a marked crosswalk for Sunrise Boulevard. For unknown reasons, an oncoming driver of a Toyota Prius crashed into the two pedestrians.
What Caused the Pedestrian Accident?
Authorities have not yet reported the cause of the pedestrian accident. Investigators do not suspect that speed or alcohol played as factors.

The following video shows the scene of the pedestrian accident. The impact of the collision caused the Toyota Prius to become disabled and was required to be towed away from the scene.
Were They Okay?
The two pedestrians were transported to the hospital for treatment. The woman was reported to be in stable condition and the man was is in critical condition. Authorities have not disclosed additional details about their injuries.
