Things to Expect from the Recovery Process for a Car Accident

A motor vehicle collision injury may result in lasting physical pain and emotional suffering. In addition to mounting medical expenses, the impact of lost earnings from missing work may be challenging to manage. This is especially true if an injured party is a primary provider for their family. When a crash occurs because of someone else’s negligent actions, an injured person may seek reimbursement for their losses through a personal injury claim. This case may seek compensation for medical bills, wage loss, etc.

While we would expect all drivers to have auto insurance, that is not always the case. The state of California has a high rate of uninsured motorists. That is why it is essential to have uninsured and underinsured motorist protection. This may help pay for losses not fully covered by the at-fault party. Our legal team recommends carrying at least $100,000 in UM and UIM coverage.

There is limited time to bring a personal injury case because of insurance deadliness and the general two-year statute of limitations. Failure to meet the filing criteria and deadlines may result in the court’s dismissal of the accident case. Therefore, it is essential to contact an injury attorney immediately.
