Four Hospitalized After Sacramento Bus and Car Collide Head-On

A serious collision involving a Sacramento bus and car collide head-on on Sunday, June 22, 2025, sending four people to the hospital, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. The Regional Transit (SacRT) bus accident took place around 4:30 p.m. on Marconi Avenue near Arcade Boulevard.

Initial Reports Point to Head-On Collision

Preliminary reports from SacRT indicated that the car swerved into the path of the oncoming bus, resulting in a head-on crash. A total of seven people were involved in the incident. Of those, two people in the car were critically injured, while two people on the bus, including the bus driver, were also taken to the hospital.

Active Investigation Ongoing

Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries have been reported so far. SacRT stated they are fully cooperating with law enforcement and emergency responders as the investigation continues into the circumstances leading up to the crash.
