Weekend Events in Roseville

Spring is in full swing, and it is a great time to get out with friends and family this weekend. Here are a few of my favorite Roseville Weekend Events for April 29-30.

Creative Collaborations Art Fair

Inspire your creative side and support local artists with the Citrus Heights CC Crew this weekend. Come watch CC Crew paint live and see their other completed works. This event is located at the shopping center of Madison Village, right outside of Jasper’s Hamburgers. There is no cost for admission!

When: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. this Saturday, April 29th.

Where: parking lot of 6270 Madison Avenue

Oakmont High School Play: Charlie Brown

This weekend is the last time to see all your favorite characters in the Charles Schultz classic at Oakmont High School. Relive the emotion of youth and watch as students from our community perform your favorite classic script along with two additional musical numbers. Tickets for general admission are $10.00.

Dates: Friday, April 28th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Location: 1710 Cirby Way, Roseville

Adventist Health’s Ravine 5k Run and Family Fun Fest

Adventist Health is celebrating breaking ground on its new Roseville campus. This fun festival will include food trucks, a carnival, music, face painting, and a service project. This is a great event to enjoy with the whole family. Join the celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Sunday. It will take place in the Morgan Stanley Building’s parking lot.

When: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Sunday, April 30th.

Where: 1482 Stone Point Dr. Roseville.

Intermediate Bicycle Ride

May is officially Bike Month! Bike month is a great time to ride to work, run errands, exercise, and enjoy the sunshine. There is no better way to get the winter kinks out of your bicycle than by riding this Saturday on the Roseville and Granite Bay streets. There will be a few hills, but most of the ride will be level. It will be more miles than an average beginner ride. The riders will meet outside of Performance Bicycle on Douglas Boulevard.

When: 10:30 a.m. this Saturday, April 29th.

Where: Performance Bicycle at 1901 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville.

2017 International Tabletop Day

Come to the Martha Riley Library this Saturday to play games and get to know new people on Tabletop Day. This event will be held in the two large meeting rooms of the library and is an excellent opportunity to learn to play new games and make new friends.

When: 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. this Saturday, April 29th.

Where: 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville

Maker Night

reCREATE is holding another Maker Night tomorrow from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fortunately, their tickets were just discounted, so now is a great time to reserve your spots. This will be a fun evening for the whole family with activities such as painting with slingshots, fun with Sphero, Makey Madness, and much more. The night will start with the maker crafts for kids from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the maker crafts for the adults will go from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

When: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th.

Where: 8417 Washington Blvd, Suite 135, Roseville.
