A serious rollover crash on I-5 south near SR-113 in Woodland occurred Sunday night, March 1, 2026, resulting in significant injuries and an overturned vehicle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 8:02 p.m. Witnesses described seeing a vehicle roll off the freeway, flying through the air, and landing roughly 75 yards from the roadway on its roof. The vehicle then caught fire.
Emergency responders from the Yolo County Fire Department and CHP quickly arrived on the scene. Firefighters extinguished the flames, and personnel safely extricated the driver.
