Accident on U.S. 50 Occurs Near Bradshaw Road Off-Ramp

A three-vehicle crash that occurred in Sacramento in the middle lane of U.S. 50 on July 11 was reported as being caused by a reckless driver. The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. just west of the Bradshaw Road off-ramp. The incident report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated that the accident involved a Tesla, BMW, and another car.

Witness Reports Reckless Driver Tried to Pass Between Cars

A witness to the incident reported that the driver of one of the vehicles was reckless prior to the car accident and attempted to pass between the other two vehicles. The BMW sustained moderate front-end damage. One of the vehicles involved in the collision damaged about 50 feet of a chain-link fence. At the time of this report, injuries suffered in the accident had not been announced.

Reckless Driving as a Cause of a Traffic Accident

A reckless driver is one who handles their vehicle with disregard for others sharing the roadway. The definition of reckless driving can vary from state to state. • Running a red light or stop sign
  • Racing
  • Swerving across the lanes of traffic
  • Driving the wrong way on a street or highway
  • Driving on a sidewalk or into a crowd of people
  • Tailgating
  • Drunk or drugged driving
  • Passing on the wrong side
  • Speeding
  • Failing to yield
  • Not using turn signals before turning a corner or changing lanes

Compensation Following an Accident With a Reckless Driver

Dangerous behaviors by negligent drivers cause many severe injuries and fatalities each day. Our law office has successfully obtained compensation for numerous clients who’ve been injured or lost a loved one because of these negligent drivers. My team of injury attorneys and I are here to help you obtain the compensation you need to cover all of your medical expenses, your lost wages and to reimburse you for your pain and suffering.

We believe that it’s difficult enough to face an injury that was someone else’s fault. You should never have to assume the financial burden too. Our investigative team goes right to work to get the evidence needed to support your claim, including:

  • Checking the police report for errors because it could affect the client’s ability to file a claim
  • Conducting accident reconstruction, which often points toward which driver was at fault for the collision
  • Talking to the witnesses to the reckless driver collision to see if anyone filmed the accident as it happened
  • Looking for area surveillance cameras that could have captured the accident caused by the reckless driver on film

Once the data is accumulated, our injury attorneys use it in constructing a strong case to support our client’s claim.
