Pedestrian Wrongful Death Claims

There must be evidence to support a fatal Auburn hit-and-run accident that shows another person or entity was at fault. Immediate family members in California are entitled to damages if a negligent or wrongdoing party causes the death of a loved one. An accident attorney can help them file a claim for wrongful death.

Evidence of Wrongful Death

An injury lawyer can investigate cases of pedestrian deaths in traffic collisions to determine whether evidence supports wrongful death claims. Your personal injury lawyer will collect the evidence and other documents regarding the accident, including police reports, witness statements, traffic surveillance videos, and photographs. In addition, a medical expert witness can testify to the causes of death and the negligent actions of the at-fault party.
