Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Truck in Modesto
A pedestrian was killed on the morning of Tuesday, December 8, 2020, after reportedly being hit in a parking lot by a Modesto Irrigation District (MID) utility truck on Yosemite Boulevard in Modesto. According to a spokeswoman for the Modesto Police Department (Modesto PD), the female pedestrian was hit by the MID truck at approximately 7:13 a.m. in the Stop N Save parking lot at Riverside Drive and Yosemite Boulevard. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
