Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in Ojai
A major injury motorcycle accident occurred recently near the town of Ojai.
Location of the Crash
According to authorities, the accident occurred on Monday, November 20, 2017 not long before 3 pm on Highway 150 just minutes from the town of Ojai near Gorham Road.
Details of the Crash
The accident involved two vehicles, one of which was a motorcycle. The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the crash and had to be airlifted to a hospital via a sheriff’s helicopter. When the motorcycle and the car collided both vehicles went off the side of the road.
Injuries Suffered
The motorcycle rider was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition due to his traumatic injuries. The rider was transported from the scene at 3:35 pm. Emergency personnel cleared the accident scene at 4:45 pm. There was no word on any injuries suffered by the driver of the car or if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Ventura County Fire Department assisted at the crash scene.
