Natomas Deadly Motorcycle Crash
I’m Ed Smith, a Natomas motorcycle accident lawyer. A motorcyclist was tragically struck and killed near Natomas on April 21, 2016.
What Happened?
A motorcyclist died after being involved in a crash with a big rig along Interstate 80, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 in the vicinity of Northgate Boulevard. The incident blocked all lanes of highway.
Traffic was at a stand still and backed up as far as El Camino Avenue while rescue crews worked to clear the scene of this tragic collision.
Finally, at around 6:30 p.m., two of the lanes were reopened to motorists. The roadway was cleared of the wreckage by 6:40 p.m.
Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other information about the cause of the crash or the condition of the truck driver was available.
