Is it Better to Get a Lawyer for a Car Accident?

No one ever wants to be injured in a car wreck. However, the decisions made in the immediate aftermath of a traffic collision can significantly impact your recovery – emotionally, physically, and financially. Choosing the right Pittsburg personal injury lawyer to handle your car accident case is one of the most essential decisions you must make, but it does not have to be a challenging one.

Recovering Compensation After a Multi-Vehicle in Pittsburg

Many unique factors are involved in every car accident injury claim. The amount of compensation recoverable through these types of cases will depend on several issues like the amount of bodily injury liability coverage or uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage (UM/UIM), a wide array of legal matters regarding liability, and the facts of the incident. Some of the types of economic and non-economic damages a claimant may be entitled to after a motor vehicle collision in Pittsburg include:

  • Payment of all past and future medical expenses that are deemed reasonable and necessary.
  • Lost wages and loss of future earning potential if permanent injury or disability is involved.
  • Pain and suffering for the physical pain and emotional trauma of an injury from a crash.
  • Punitive damages are awarded in extreme car accident injury cases involving egregious actions by the negligent party like excessive speeding or other forms of reckless driving.
