Roseville Car Crash Fatality

Motorcade brings fallen CHP officer from Reno to Roseville

A motorcade procession along Interstate 80 will transport the body of fallen Gold Run California Highway Patrol Officer Nathan Taylor today. The motorcade will be coming from Reno to Roseville.

The Gold Run California Highway Patrol office indicated the procession will start in Reno, Nevada at about 2 p.m.

“It would be fantastic to honor him and his family if the community lined the overcrossings and so forth to show him respect as he passes through the area all the way to Rocklin,” the CHP posted on their Facebook page.

The motorcade will eventually end up at Chapel of the Valley funeral home in Roseville, California.

Officer Taylor, 35, was hit by a car Saturday while investigating a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Truckee, California. Sadly, Officer Thomas passed away later at a Reno area hospital on Sunday, March 13, 2016.

The post had no official word on when the procession would be coming through specific cities.

The Law Office of Edward A Smith extends our deepest condolences to the family, co-workers and friends of Officer Taylor.
