Modesto Auto Accident Injures Four
I’m Ed Smith, a Modesto personal injury lawyer. Four parties, including an infant, suffered injuries after a car accident in Modesto on May 24, 2018. The crash occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. and involved a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a Honda Accord sedan. A preliminary report from local authorities suggested that one driver was traveling westbound along Mount Vernon Avenue while the other motorist was northbound along Tully Road. The westbound motorist reportedly ran a red light at the intersection, causing a serious collision. Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and transported four parties to an area hospital for treatment of injuries described as moderate to severe. An update on their conditions has not yet been released publicly by officials.
Accident Investigation
The cause of the accident is under investigation. Police did report that the driver who allegedly ran the red light had no proof of insurance and was driving with a suspended license. It is not yet known whether the motorist was cited for these traffic violations.
