Building Your Own LED Flashlight

Date: Thursday, June 7, 2018

If you would like to master the art of handcrafted materials, this is the event for you. This beginners workshop will teach attendants how to make an LED flashlight from scratch. All necessary materials will be provided by event organizers, who will be there to take you step-by-step through the process. Build-A-Robot Workshop members will also be showcasing some of their own robotics kits for those interested in taking a project home.

Horn Photo and Panasonic are collaborating to bring this free photography event to Fresno for the first time ever. Come by The Downtown Club to test out the newest cameras and lenses that Panasonic has to offer, like the G9 and GH5S. You are even welcome to bring your own SD card to keep a copy of all your images. All attendees will be entered into a raffle giveaway to win a camera and two lenses, with a value of $1,000.

Adventure Camp

Date: Monday, June 25, 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: 894 West Belmont Avenue, Fresno, CA 93728

Admission: $55 – $59 tickets online

Adventure Camp is all about working with kids to help them develop a basic understanding and appreciation for nature and animals. Children will have the opportunity to explore the fun of live animal observations and interactions, arts and crafts, group games and more. Snacks will be included in the morning and afternoon of the camp day, but it is recommended that all children come with a pre-packed lunch. All campers will be divided into according age groups. This event is intended for children ages 5 to 11.
