Vacaville Community Events

Vacaville is a little gem that lies between San Francisco and Sacramento. From wine-tasting to nature parks, factory tours to outdoor concerts, this picturesque town has it all. The weather of the town is another bonus; you can enjoy biking, hiking, and many other outdoor activities here year-round. If you’ve already been to the Andrews Park and Lagoon Valley and looking for something new, here are some suggestions.

Exhibition: Solano Collects

Date: Thursday, July 25, 2019

Time: 1:00 pm

Location: Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Avenue, Vacaville, CA

Admission: Free

Do you have a collection of treasures you’ve always wanted to showcase? The Center for Solano Culture & History is planning an exhibit – Solano Collects – and is inviting the public to share their private collections.

It could be historical items, furniture, antiques, things of whimsy, paintings, items from different countries and cultures, and any collectibles. In the words of The Museum, “surprise us!”

They have already received a variety of incredible things in the past month, and this is the last call for submissions. If you have something that you inherited or you’ve been collecting from a young age, this might be your chance to show it to the public.
