  • Spinal cord injuries, which can lead to paralysis
  • Back and neck injuries
  • Abdominal injuries

Delayed Symptoms Following a Motorcycle Crash

A person’s life can be forever altered by motorcycle accident injuries. The first thing you need to do after an accident is to seek medical attention.

Putting off treatment too long may lead to the worsening of your injuries and complications that will cause you pain for the rest of your life. Furthermore, if necessary, you can use a record of your injuries and the accident to support your compensation claim.

Cervical Strain or Sprain Can Cause Neck Pain

Symptoms of whiplash include neck pain, which occurs when the head decelerates and accelerates rapidly. Chronic pain can result from cervical strain. Headaches, dizziness, fatigue and neck pain are all symptoms of whiplash.

Headaches After a Motorcycle Accident Can Indicate a Brain Injury

Even if you don’t lose consciousness in a motorcycle collision, you could suffer from a concussion. Long-term problems can arise from concussions or other injuries to the head or brain. Dizziness, headaches, nausea, confusion and memory problems are all symptoms of a concussion.

Nerve Injuries Can Cause Pain in Your Extremities

An accident could cause nerve damage in your arms or legs. Long-term nerve injuries may cause chronic pain and limb limitations. Nerve injuries cause numbness, pain and difficulty leading a normal life.

Back Pain Following a Motorcycle Accident

Getting a checkup after an accident is important if you are experiencing back pain. An injury to the back, such as spinal cord trauma, can be debilitating. In the absence of proper treatment, back pain can worsen and become chronic. You may have difficulty performing daily tasks, working or enjoying leisure activities due to this condition.
