Another great place to bring kids is the Folsom City Zoo. This is a small zoo, but it is completely full with tons of different rescue animals. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, so what it lacks in size it makes up for by being so picturesque. Because it is small it allows you to get closer to the animals that they do have which can be a great educational experience for kids. It is a great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of being out and get back to nature for a little while.
