Providing Assistance to Those Injured by Hit-and-Run Drivers

As a result of our years of experience, we have located many hit-and-run drivers. Our team understands the importance of holding the hit-and-run driver responsible for their actions. Investigators and other resources are also assisting in this task. As part of our accident investigation, we examine the following factors:

  • The accident location is searched for paint and metal pieces that the driver dropped at the scene when the accident took place. By these, you can identify a vehicle’s make and model.
  • Interviews are conducted with witnesses who saw the hit-and-run accident.
  • For police reports to be accurate and complete, we must ensure they are accurate. The client’s compensation claims may be affected if the information is inaccurate.
  • Using surveillance videos and accident reconstruction techniques allows us to better understand the accident. If the accident was captured on video, your lawyer can subpoena it as evidence to back up your claim.
  • Our attorneys can prepare a strong case using that evidence for negotiations or litigation.

Accident Compensation Add-On Insurance

It is difficult to compensate those who have suffered injuries when a Sacramento hit-and-run driver is responsible for the accident and cannot be identified. Even if the driver is located, he or she may not be insured or have the financial resources to pay for your injuries. As a result, our attorneys can help by utilizing the coverage provided by our clients’ uninsured/underinsured motorist policies.

The add-on policy covers injuries caused by hit-and-run drivers in Sacramento regardless of how they are caused, whether they are driving, walking, or riding a bicycle. If this add-on policy is unavailable, an injured person can use coverage provided by a family member. The policy rates remain unchanged.
