Safety on Two-Lane Highways
Crashes involving vehicles traveling in opposite directions can result in devastating injuries because of the combined forces involved in the impact.
Drivers traveling on two-lane highways should remain attentive, maintain a safe speed for current conditions, and avoid distractions. Motorists should also use additional caution during early morning and nighttime hours when reduced visibility and fatigue may increase driving risks.
