CHP traffic officers indicated in a preliminary report that a woman from Dinuba, age 26, is suspected to be at fault for a crash involving three other cars because of distracted driving. Of the reported accidents was a head-on collision that caused a man from Sanger to suffer fatal injuries. The series of crashes also left three people injured.

Authorities reported that a woman behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado was not paying attention as she approached a slower-moving vehicle described as a Toyota Camry. What to Expect From an Auto Accident Case

Injuries from a car accident may have a significant impact on your daily life, finances, health, and ability to work. In some extreme cases, a crash may claim the life of a loved one. Navigating the claims process may add stress to an already overwhelming situation for injured parties and surviving family members. Insurers, including your own, may often look for indications or discrepancies to deny or reduce a bodily injury claim. In these situations, it is in your best interest to discuss your options with an experienced injury lawyer to learn about the best course of action moving forward in your situation.

Hesitations or delays in retaining legal counsel may lead to additional difficulties in a case of personal injury. As such, the days and weeks following a motor vehicle collision are crucial to the determination of liability and damages in a claim. While an attorney can step in on behalf of an injured party at most points in a bodily injury claim, it is best to avoid challenges if possible and have an injury attorney on your side from the start of the case. Our accident lawyers are available to discuss your case in a free consultation and help you recover the full compensation you deserve under California law.

Is There a Time Limit on Accident Cases?

An injured party or surviving family member does not have an indefinite time to file a case of personal injury or wrongful death in California. This time restriction is referred to as the statute of limitations. In California, a case must be filed in civil court within two years from the date of when an accident occurred. If a claimant fails to file a case against the negligent party, they may likely lose the right to seek damages. Protect your right to full compensation and retain legal counsel right away. An attorney will work to ensure that all details of your case are handled appropriately.
