Elk Grove August 2018 Event Calendar

I’m Ed Smith, an Elk Grove Personal Injury Lawyer. August is the month where many students nationwide go back to school, yet summer is still in full bloom in Elk Grove, California. The sun is practically begging locals to go outside and have fun during these last days of the summer season. Luckily, I have found some community activities that will help residents maximize their happiness this month. Whether you are into movies, soccer, or martial arts, I have found an event for you.

Friday’s are meant for movie nights, according to the Marketplace 99. You are cordially invited to come out with some friends, family, or a significant other to enjoy this free screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The film will be projected on a big movie screen outside, so all you need to bring is some blankets, chairs, and your favorite snacks. Free popcorn will be offered at the event, as well as an arts and crafts station to keep the little ones entertained.

Players from many different teams and divisions join together for their first games and pictures. Spectators can enjoy good music and barbecue while watching the fun competition between skilled athletes.

Knowing how to defend yourself in the event of a frightening situation is more critical than ever before. Women, men, and adolescents that are at least 12 years of age are invited to Ajay’s Karate for an hour-long lesson on self-defense. Participants will learn how to utilize their bodies to successfully break out of holds and temporarily disable an attacker to get free safely.
