Sacramento December 2018 Events

December is one of the more notable months of the year, as it contains one of the most widely popular holidays in America: Christmas. The season of Christmas brings out joy, festivity, and jolly community spirit in Sacramento. While Sacramento residents are not anticipating a white Christmas, there are still many things about the holiday season that bring cheer to all those around. Sacramento is bursting with community activities this December, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of the abundant opportunities presented. Below I have listed a handful of upcoming events in Sacramento.

Mini Macrame Gifts

Date: Saturday, December 1, 2018

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location: 625 S Street, Sacramento, CA 95811

Admission: $40 – $50 tickets

What better way to show that you care about your loved ones than by making them a unique, handcrafted present for the holidays? Event attendants will be creating three miniature-sized macramé wall hangers, these hand-woven pieces are undeniably the perfect present or decoration for the holiday season. The course instructor will teach participants two weaving techniques, and from there they will have the option to choose which technique they’d like to apply on their third piece. No experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

Santa’s Breakfast and Workshop

Date: Sunday, December 2, 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: 58th and M Street, Sacramento, CA 95819

Admission: Free

St. Mary Elementary School is hosting this event for all Santa lovers of all ages. For a small price, attendants can take professional pictures and eat breakfast with Santa. There will also be an open workshop available to the public, where people can make homemade crafts. There will also be vendors eager to showcase their unique crafts that will be available to purchase. This will be a one-of-a-kind place to buy handmade jewelry, hand-carved wooden kitchen items, handcrafted light jars, and more.

Holly Jolly Pub Crawl

Date: Saturday, December 8, 2018

Time: 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Location: Midtown Sacramento

Admission: $10 – $15 tickets

In honor of the holly jolly Christmas spirit, The Xoso Sport & Social League wanted to create an event that will be a good time and a good cause for the community. For every person registered for the pub crawl, Xoso will donate a toy to the Shriners Hospital for Children. If you would like to help out, even more, toy donations will also be accepted at the event check-in. The benefits of participating in this pub crawl include a free Santa hat (to the first 150 check-ins only), a free drink at the check-in bar, and a waived cover charge at the participating bars.
