Minor Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 99 in Elk Grove

Minor injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 99 in Elk Grove on Saturday, July 25, 2026, along southbound SR-99 near the West Stockton Blvd off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch records.

Multiple Vehicles Involved

The crash was reported shortly after 11:00 a.m. Dispatch records identified a Chevrolet Suburban and a white Nissan Versa among the vehicles involved, while later updates indicated the collision involved two to three vehicles.

One vehicle’s airbags deployed during the crash. CHP dispatch notes stated that no occupants were trapped or ejected, and emergency personnel remained on scene after the incident was reclassified as a minor-injury collision.

Lane Blocked During Emergency Response

The collision temporarily blocked one lane of southbound SR-99 while first responders assisted those involved and crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
