An early morning two-vehicle crash on I-80 near Greenback Lane in Foothill Farms prompted an emergency response on westbound Interstate 80 on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch records.

Crash Reported Shortly Before 7 a.m.

The collision was reported shortly before 7:00 a.m. and involved a silver Volkswagen Passat and an unidentified black sedan.

Both vehicles were moved to the right shoulder as emergency crews responded. Fire personnel and freeway service patrol units were dispatched to assist at the scene and help clear the roadway.
