Pickup Truck and Van Collide on Highway 65 Ramp
CHP reports indicated that a gold GMC pickup truck and a white van were involved in the collision.
The crash initially created a traffic hazard on the ramp. Both vehicles were later moved to the right shoulder, helping clear the travel portion of the roadway.
Roseville Fire personnel responded to the scene to provide assistance.
At Least One Minor Injury Reported
The incident was initially reported as a collision without injuries. CHP later updated the classification after at least one minor injury was reported.
Authorities had not released additional information about the injured person or whether anyone required transportation to a hospital.
The total number of occupants involved in the collision was also not immediately available.
Cause of Roseville Crash Under Investigation
Officials have not yet determined what caused the pickup truck and van to collide.
Investigators may consider vehicle positions, roadway evidence, witness statements, and other available information as they work to establish the events that led to the crash.
On-Ramp Driving Safety
Freeway on-ramps can require motorists to manage curves, changing speeds, and merging traffic within a relatively short distance. Drivers should maintain adequate space between vehicles and remain attentive to traffic ahead.
Motorists should also adjust their speed for ramp conditions and avoid abrupt maneuvers that could increase the risk of a collision.

Why Hiring a Personal Injury Attorney Can Help
Even a collision initially described as minor can result in injuries that become more noticeable in the hours or days afterward. Neck pain, back pain, headaches, and other symptoms may not always appear immediately after an accident.
A personal injury attorney can help investigate the collision, gather available evidence, address insurance issues, and document medical treatment and other accident-related losses.
