Country In The Park 2023 Drew Thousands of Attendees

The Country In The Park festival returned to Sacramento and exceeded expectations. The sold-out two-day celebration of country music took place on May 5th and 6th at Cal Expo and attracted thousands of people who enjoyed live performances, food trucks, and refreshing drinks.

Despite the occasional rain showers that swept through the venue, the festival-goers remained undeterred and were treated to a unique blend of sounds and energy that only country music can provide.

Country Music’s Biggest Names

This year’s festival featured some of the biggest names in country music, including Brett Eldredge, Lady A, Chris Young, Joe Nichols, Justin Moore, Maddie & Tae, Restless Road, Corey Kent, Breland, and Kylie Morgan. The star-studded lineup was nothing short of spectacular, and fans were treated to unforgettable nights of live performances under a canopy of twinkling stars.

Lady A, one of country music’s most successful bands, headlined the festival’s first night. They delivered an electrifying performance that had fans singing along to their hit songs, including “Need You Now,” “Just a Kiss,” and “I Run to You.” The band’s tight harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and heartfelt lyrics captivated the audience, and their performance remained unaffected even in the rain.

Brett Eldredge, known for his smooth vocals and charming personality, took the stage on the festival’s second night. He sang some of his most famous songs, including “Don’t Ya,” “Beat of the Music,” and “Love Someone.” Eldredge’s energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and the crowd danced and sang along to every song.

Chris Young, who has had 11 number-one singles and four gold albums, also gave a memorable performance. He sang hits like “Gettin’ You Home,” “Voices,” “Tomorrow,” and “I’m Comin’ Over,” and his rich baritone voice filled the arena. His fans waited all night and were thrilled to see him perform live.

The Rising Country Stars Stage showcased 12 Hometown Bands Performing, giving them a platform to showcase their talents. These up-and-coming artists brought their A-game and gave performances that impressed country music fans.

Fun Festivities for All Ages

The festival also offered attendees various activities and experiences besides live performances. The Boot Scootin’ Line Dance Saloon was a popular attraction, where fans learned line dancing moves and showed off their skills. Attendees also got their hair styled for free at the Braid Bar, tried their hand at axe throwing and rock climbing, and took a ride on the mechanical bull. Participants who wanted to commemorate their festival experience enjoyed the popular 360 photo booths and psychics readings, and those who preferred a more relaxing experience got a rejuvenating escape at the Relaxation Pavilion.

Foodies were also in for a treat, as the festival featured some of the best food trucks in Sacramento. Attendees got to indulge in various cuisines, including pizza, barbecue, Mexican food, burgers, wraps, corn dogs, gyros, tri-tip, wings, Thai food, lobster rolls, gourmet salads, kettle corn, and ice cream. Adults 21 and older enjoyed margaritas, cocktails, beer, and wine throughout the event.

Overall, the Country In The Park festival was a huge success. It provided county music lovers with a fantastic lineup of live performances, good food, and fun all weekend.
