The weather is warming, the trees are blooming, and the days are feeling longer and sunnier thanks to the recent Daylight Saving. The beauty of the city is worth taking full advantage of – no matter how busy your schedule may currently feel. Watercolor Painting for Beginners

Date: Sunday, April 7, 2019

Time: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Admission: $45 tickets

Learn the fundamental knowledge behind the art and skill of watercolor painting at University Art. We promise you will have a fun time with the process! Instruction will cover the differences between watercolor cakes vs. tube paint, differences in paintbrushes, painting styles and techniques, and more. Participants will then put this knowledge to use by creating a personalized masterpiece! Painting materials will not be supplied. Grilled Cheese Festival 2019

Date: Sunday, April 14, 2019

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: 2115 6th Street, Sacramento, CA 95818

Admission: $8 – $10 tickets

This festival is all about honoring one of the most nostalgic foods from almost everyone’s childhood: grilled cheese. It is a family-friendly event at Southside Park that will make both adults and children as happy as can be. Grilled cheese sandwich samples will be offered in the form of “bites,” which are about 1/4th the size of a full sandwich. There will be some classic cheese-and-grilled-bread samples, as well as many creative melts that take a unique twist of the classic idea. Beverages and desserts will also be available for pairings. Kids can enjoy their grilled cheese bites at the free bounce houses, so everyone is guaranteed to have a fun time.

See the mesmerizing performance of this creative story at the Sacramento Community Center Theater.
