Investigation Being Conducted to Determine Cause of Antelope Major Crash

The fourth individual’s injuries were said to be minor. The identities of those who were injured were not released. Authorities are investigating the accident to determine how it happened and which driver/drivers were at fault.

Accidents Involving Motor Vehicles at Intersections

Serious injuries can result from an Antelope major crash at an intersection for several reasons. Intersections are a prime location for traffic crashes, which account for more than half of all traffic fatalities. These accidents are caused by a variety of factors, including:

  • Intersections that are poorly designed
  • Using a cell phone, texting, or eating or drinking while driving are examples of distracted driving.
  • Driving under the influence
  • Refusal to yield the right of way
  • Excessive speed
  • Driving through red lights or stop signs without stopping
  • The act of turning illegally
  • Drivers who fall asleep at the wheel

Determining Negligence in an Accident Involving Multiple Vehicles

An investigation of each driver’s actions before the crash is typically used to assess negligence in an Antelope major crash. In addition to the primary at-fault driver, other motorists may be held partly responsible if they also exhibited negligence in the accident.

Consider the case of a driver running a red light and colliding with another motorist who has the right of way. As a result, Driver C rear-ends Driver B, causing the multiple-vehicle crash, which is most likely attributed to Driver A. Because Driver C failed to stop in time to avoid the collision, they may also be partly responsible. In a multiple-vehicle traffic accident, the court will typically consider the facts and circumstances of the case when determining each driver’s negligence level.

Accident Injury Legal Advice

It is possible to benefit from the services of an accident attorney in various ways. Your lawyer will investigate the accident to determine fault and gather evidence to support your injury claim for compensation.
