A two-vehicle crash on I-80 near Riverside Avenue in Roseville prompted an emergency response on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Riverside on-ramp early Tuesday morning, August 4, 2026, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch records.

Crash Reported Early Tuesday Morning

The collision was reported at approximately 3:44 a.m. Initial dispatch information identified a gray Honda Accord and another sedan among the vehicles involved.

According to updates from the scene, a smaller sedan struck the center divider following the initial two-vehicle collision. One vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder, while another remained partially in the No. 5 lane.

Fire personnel responded to the scene and temporarily blocked traffic while emergency crews worked to assist those involved and clear the roadway.

A red Buick LaCrosse sustained moderate front-end damage and required towing. Dispatch information also indicated that a second vehicle farther ahead may have required a tow.
