Pedestrian Fatality on Marconi Avenue in Arden-Arcade

A pedestrian fatality on Marconi Avenue in Arden-Arcade occurred after a woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing Marconi near Burnece Street on Thanksgiving, November 28, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP’s North Sacramento Division, which is leading the investigation, reported that the incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. The woman was crossing the street with her puppy when the vehicle struck them. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators confirmed that alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
