Around 2:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and a sedan at East 24th Street and Laurellen Road on Highway 70. The collision forced a full road closure for several hours.

The truck driver was airlifted to Sutter-Roseville Hospital. The sedan, tragically, had five occupants. Three individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others—one being an infant—were transported to a local hospital. The infant’s condition remains unclear, and the other survivor reportedly suffered severe injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those who passed away.
