Thankfully, no passengers on the light-rail train were injured in the accident. Unfortunately, the tow truck driver suffered injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. No other information pertaining to his condition has been released.
What Caused the Crash?
Officers from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) have not disclosed a cause for this accident yet. However, wet road conditions may have contributed to this incident. It’s important to slow down and give yourself a lot of extra time when operating a motor vehicle in inclement conditions.
