Details on the Crash in Lodi That Left a Stockton Woman Injured
The Stockton woman said she was headed home after spending time with friends when she was involved in a traffic collision at the West Lane and Eight Mile Road intersection in Lodi. The roadway crash occurred during the severe storm with strong winds that swept through Northern California. The power went out due to the storm, including traffic signals, and no flashing red lights were in place to warn motorists of stops ahead, the woman said. She entered the intersection in her Jeep Cherokee when she was allegedly broadsided by another vehicle.
The impact of the collision propelled her Jeep, causing it to overturn several times. The Jeep later came to a rest on its roof in a ditch. Two Good Samaritans, a woman and a man, helped the driver get out of her Jeep through the driver’s side window. First responders were requested at the crash site to provide assistance. After the Jeep driver was cleared by medical personnel, the male Good Samaritan gave her a ride home after the crash. The Jeep driver was unable to get the name of the second Good Samaritan but would like to extend her gratitude for being with her that day.
