A San Leandro hit-and-run on January 20 left at least one person injured after a vehicle fled the scene on the northbound I-880 Washington Avenue off-ramp, officials said. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 6:29 p.m. Responding officers found a vehicle stopped on the right-hand side of the off-ramp with visible damage and an injured occupant.

An ambulance was dispatched to treat the injured person at the scene. The driver responsible for the collision reportedly fled before authorities arrived.
