The Causes of a Multiple-Vehicle Crash Near Grass Valley

There are many instances of multiple-vehicle accidents, which can cause serious injury or death to those involved. Among the most common causes are:

  • Fatigue: Fatigued drivers are similar to intoxicated drivers in how they react.
  • Speeding: The risk of an accident increases greatly when a driver exceeds the posted speed limit.
  • Distractions: Taking your eyes off the road, even briefly, can lead to an accident.
  • Intoxication: Driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs impairs judgment, reflexes, and reaction time, increasing the risk of a multiple-vehicle collision.
  • Roadway neglect: Poor road conditions can cause a vehicle to lose control due to potholes, uneven surfaces, and other obstacles, leading to a wreck near Grass Valley. You can file a claim with the government for compensation, but you have six months in which to do so, so you may want to get assistance.
  • Reckless driving: Traffic accidents are more likely to occur if a driver is aggressive, tailgates, weaves in and out of traffic, and does other aggressive driving behaviors.
  • Auto defects: A malfunctioning vehicle can cause an accident. This can include issues with the brakes, tires, and other vehicle components. Those who have been injured because of a defective part may be able to file a product liability claim. It is crucial to retain the vehicle to ensure it can be inspected for defects.
