Cyclist Killed After Hit and Run Crash in Fresno
Local authorities reported that a cyclist was struck and killed after a recent hit and run crash in southwest Fresno. The bicycle collision happened around 4:30 a.m. at Hughes and Whitesbridge avenues when a man riding a bike in the bicycle lane was hit from behind by a car. The cyclist, 37-year-old Del Rey resident Amarpreet Singh Sall, was transported to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). Sadly, he was pronounced deceased during hospitalization.
Investigation of the Fresno Hit and Run Crash
The Fresno Police Department (Fresno PD) has been in charge of the investigation for the fatal bicycle accident. Police reported that the vehicle in question is believed to be a 2013 to 2017 Honda Accord. The car is white in color and has damage to the passenger side windshield, right side mirror, and right front light assembly.
