Another Recent Fatal Napa Accident

This crash happened less than a month after another fatal collision in Napa County. On August 19, 2019, one person lost their life in a collision that took place on Highway 12. This accident also only involved a single vehicle and occurred at night on a rural highway location.

According to data from UC Berkeley research, 137 fatal crashes took place in Napa County between 2007 and 2019. By far, the most common type of accident to cause deadly injuries in Napa has been hit-object crashes, which accounted for over 45 percent of the 137 collisions. The next most common fatal accident type ways head-on accidents, which only accounted for around 15 percent.

Calling an Attorney

When people learn that their loved one was in a deadly car accident, they often go through a period of intense grieving. This process is different for everybody, but it often leaves people feeling overwhelmed and many need to take time to spend with their family in order to cope. While taking time to recover is important, it’s also critical to call a wrongful death lawyer as soon as possible. Negligent parties like reckless drivers, auto product manufacturers, and others are usually quick to begin building up a legal defense in order to disclaim financial responsibility. Having an attorney who can investigate the accident and defend you and your family’s right to compensation early on can be a vital part of your case.

Even if you aren’t sure about whether or not your case merits hiring a lawyer, it’s still a good idea to call for advice. Most attorneys are happy to provide free advice over the phone so that you can have the information you need to move forward if you so choose.
