Minor Dies as a Result of Collision

A tragic accident fatality was reported in Sacramento following a three-vehicle crash that occurred on December 11. A minor, age eight, was reported as having died as a result of an accident at the Calvine Road intersection with Power Inn Road, which resulted in multiple critical injuries. The minor’s mother and teenage brother also suffered critical trauma in the collision. The brother has since been released, and the mother is recovering slowly from her injuries.

Family Member and Pastor Makes Statement Over the Loss

Pastor Charles Anderson, who is affiliated with the All Nations Church of God in Christ in Sacramento, made a statement earlier in the week about the unexpected loss of this cherished family member to an accident fatality and injuries to other loved ones. Pastor Anderson said he will miss the child’s personality and the moments they shared. He would also miss seeing the little boy grow up, but God chose to take him now. They lean on the memories of the years they shared with the child and their faith to help them get through this tragic loss.

Families Coping With Loss of Minor in Tragic Accident

The family chose to have the minor’s organs donated, which can save three people’s lives, and in this way, he is living on and making a difference. A GoFundMe site has been set up by the family to help with the funeral and with medical costs for his mother and brother. By clicking on the link, you can help.

Seeking Legal Advice Following a Death or Injury Caused by Negligence

When a family has lost a loved one due to an accident fatality or someone has suffered an injury because of another’s negligence, they may be able to file to recover damages. When an accident fatality occurs, the family may wish to find out about filing a wrongful death claim. If that family member survived for a while, they may also file a survival action, which can recover the cost of all of the medical expenses in addition to other losses and punitive damages. For those who suffered injuries at the hands of a negligent driver, the injured party may file a personal injury claim to recover compensation.

We understand how difficult it can be to say goodbye to a loved one and to suffer injuries that never should have happened. By filing a claim for wrongful death, the pain the family feels won’t be lessened, but it can help bring them a sense of justice and closure for their loss as well as help them avoid financial strain. In the case of someone who has been injured, by filing a claim, they can recover all of their medical costs and lost wages as well as get reimbursed for their pain and suffering.
