To ensure that you always have event options available, I have collected a list of Oakley community events for March 2018.

Beading Class

Date: Monday, March 12, 2018

Admission: $48-$58

Each week presents a unique beading project that utilizes different techniques to craft your very own personalized jewelry. Event projects include the art of making bracelets, necklaces, and earrings with alternative styles and patterns for youth and adult participants. This activity presents those interested with multiple ways to explore your creative energies while meeting new people with similar interests. Learn how to market your final products and potentially make an income from your new hobby! Admission is $48 for Oakley residents and $58 for non-residents. Buns and Guns: Exercise Boot Camp

Date: Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

Admission: $85-$95

Participate in the workout of a lifetime in this class that combines aerobic, strength, and resistance training. This circuit class uses various exercise modalities such as medicine balls, stability bells, resistance bands, and more. Every class takes on a new approach to physical training. So while you may not know what to expect, one thing is for sure: You will get a phenomenal workout! The class fee is $85 for Oakley residents and $95 for non-residents. For more information about pre-registation, contact tumin@ci.oakley.ca.us.

Lego Camps

Date: Monday, March 26, 2018 – Friday, March 30, 2018

Admission: $160-$170

This years’ Lego Camp will be different, with two separate age-group camps! The morning camp will meet daily Mon-Fri from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and is intended for pre-adolescents of the ages 6 – 12. Children will acquire new skills through the experience of building projects that will emphasize technique instruction. The afternoon camp will meet on the same days from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for older, more advanced builders between the ages of 9 – 14. Kids will work on engineering projects that feature robotics. The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast

Date: Saturday, March 31, 2018

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Location: 1050 Neroly Rd, Oakley, CA 94561

Admission: Free

This is one of the free Oakley community events. It will be held at the Freedom High School Basin, and is open to all residents. The pancake breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the Easter egg hunt will take off at 10:30 a.m. The egg scavenger hunt is open to kids 10 years old or younger. This family friendly event is sure to be a treat for everyone that comes.
