New Downtown Circulator Bus in Pittsburg, CA

In Pittsburg, California, a new bus route service will start on Monday, September 25th, 2017. Riders who step on near the Los Medanos College stop will now have the convenience of departing in downtown Pittsburg after a 20-minute ride.

Route Information

All travelers aboard – welcome to Route 381! This new bus route will carry riders from Los Medanos College, across the Pittsburg Health Center, and around the Pittsburg Senior Center, following Railroad Avenue with multiple drop-off stops near the City Hall, the Library, the Marina, and Pittsburg High School.

Starting September 25th, 2017, Route 381 will officially be the fastest route of the Tri Delta Transit network. The bus goes back and forth for 22 daily trips and will make stops at major city centers, such as the Atlantic Plaza, as well as the downtown shopping centers and restaurants on 5th and 8th Street.

The bus will make its first departure at 7:30 a.m. and its final departure at 6:00 p.m. Between those times, a bus will leave every thirty minutes. Buses from the Marina and LMC will also leave at half an hour. Route 381 will connect to the new Pittsburg Center eBART station, scheduled to open in May 2018, between Railroad Avenue and Highway 4.

The Clockwise Route 383 in Oakley and Antioch will also be undergoing changes, allowing Freedom High School students to arrive at school earlier. If you would like to know more information, check out Tri Delta Transit’s website: www.trideltatransit.com

Protecting Your Rights in Bus Accidents

Bus accidents are a rare occurrence in comparison to other traffic-related collisions. Yet, they can still happen at any time and leave traumatizing injuries to the lives of those involved. Anyone involved in a California bus collision should be educated on the differences between bus accidents and typical traffic accidents. Getting an equitable amount of compensation following a bus collision can be difficult, and sometimes, bus accident survivors have to endure the challenges of high medical bills, lost wages, and other related damages. For these reasons, anyone injured in a bus accident is well advised to contact an experienced accident lawyer with a concrete understanding of their legal rights and options for moving forward.
