DUI Collision Kills Modesto Woman
I’m Ed Smith, a Modesto personal injury lawyer. A man from Oakdale was driving under the influence during the afternoon hours of Thursday, May 25, 2017. The man allowed his vehicle to enter the oncoming lane of travel and collide head-on with a woman from Modesto. Sadly, the impact from the collision caused the woman to suffer fatal injuries.
A 34-year-old Oakdale man was behind the wheel of his Acura MDX traveling eastbound along Parker Road. At the same time, a 28-year-old woman was driving her Mazda 3 westbound along Parker Road. The Oakdale man’s Acura veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with the woman’s Mazda.
