How to Handle Bicycle Accidents

If you or a loved one ever find yourselves involved in a bicycle accident with a vehicle, it is crucial to contact authorities to the scene. If police conduct a report based on the information gathered at the scene, the report may be used if you need to file an insurance claim. It is also important to obtain the motorist’s vehicle insurance information, license plate number, address and phone number. If there were witnesses at the scene, also obtain their information and phone numbers. Always remember to follow-up on treatment if you suffered injuries as a result of the collision. For more information, contact an experienced personal injury lawyer.
